About the company
Better software decisions need a clearer commercial picture.
The Software Licensing Company brings together software discovery, independent procurement and licensing advice, vendor and contract governance, and paid marketing services for software vendors.
Software procurement, licensing and governance advice for enterprise and mid-market organisations, with product supply and implementation available separately.

Our purpose
Make software decisions easier to understand and act on.
Organisations are often managing software across teams, suppliers, agreements and renewal cycles. Vendors are often trying to explain their value to buyers who have less time and more choice. The Software Licensing Company supports both sides with clear routes, useful information and properly scoped services.
Company facts
Independent software selection, procurement, licensing and governance advice
A catalogue that helps buyers research software and supplier options
Clear routes to request product details, quotations or demonstrations
Practical support for requirements, comparisons and procurement conversations
Paid vendor marketing activity kept separate from independent advice
Our focus
Procurement, licensing, governance and discovery
Independent advisory perspective
Our advisory work is not tied to a single publisher, so recommendations reflect your requirements, your contract position and your commercial priorities. Advisory work is kept distinct from our product supply lines.
Software discovery and comparison
A catalogue and comparison route that helps buyers research software and supplier options before committing budget or signing.
Product supply, ring-fenced
We also supply and implement software commercially, including as an authorised partner for LogicHarbour. Product supply is a separate service line from independent advisory work and is disclosed as such.
Paid vendor marketing activity
Vendor promotion is paid for by the vendor, labelled as such, and kept separate from independent procurement and licensing advice.
How clients engage
Start with the question in front of you.
Clients may begin with a catalogue search, a quotation request, a renewal or licensing question, an estate review or a governance need. We clarify the information required and recommend the next step without assuming every situation needs the same service.
How vendors engage
Build a focused route to market.
Vendors may engage for content, campaign, lead generation, virtual event or UK market-entry support. This is paid promotional activity, scoped separately and labelled clearly. It does not change the independence of advisory work.

How we are structured
Independent advice, alongside disclosed commercial services
These are different service lines, and we keep them visible as such.
Independence applies to our advisory work: procurement, licensing, renewal, estate and governance engagements are provided on a commercial advisory basis and are not tied to a single publisher. Separately, we supply and implement software commercially, including as an authorised partner for LogicHarbour, and we provide paid marketing services to software vendors. Neither product supply nor paid promotion changes the basis of advisory recommendations, and both are disclosed.
Advisory work
Independent commercial advisory support. Scoped and agreed with you.
Product supply
Commercial supply and implementation of software, including LogicHarbour as an authorised partner. A separate service line.
Vendor marketing
Paid promotional services for software vendors, labelled as sponsored where they appear.
